So I was doing a photo shoot for a different family out a most stunning barn, and, out of the corner of my eye, I caught a glimpse of this blue horse trailer. Of course, I found this at the end of the photo shoot as the melt downs were occurring so I couldn't use it. BUT, I had another client out at the same location a few days ago, and I decided to BEGIN at the blue horse trailer. And, despite the fact that my little clients were eating apples as I snapped away, I LOVE the way the color pops. Have I mentioned how much I love color. LOVE IT. I really believe it makes or breaks pictures. So wear a little more color to your next session. A red necklace, an orange pair of shoes (sidenote: I have 3 pairs of orange shoes), a purple scarf, a pink tutu (side note: my girls have far too many tutus), a bright blue tie . . .
So I realize it's been over a month since my last post, but just know that much as occurred during that time. At some point, I hope to be able to share our journey, but, for now, I can stand firm in God's faithfulness. He is holding me by my right hand as I walk uphill most days. Some of the greatest joy that I've experienced is in photography, as it has become such a sanctuary to me - a place where I can lose myself for a little while. So, without further ado, here's a little beauty for your day.

I am a middle school teacher turned stay-at-home mom with a passion for capturing kids in their most precious moments. I chose the name "Silly Goose Photography" because, more often than not, you can't really expect kids to pose. However, as they go about being "silly gooses," you can uncover the most precious photos that you can keep forever. I hope you will consider using me for your photography needs. I truly love it!
